How to assign a static IP address to my Director, CM, or RS series amplifiers?

This article refers to setting a static IP address on the Director and Director Matrix DSP amplifiers, CM series 70 volt amplifiers, and the RS500 or RS1000 subwoofer amplifiers. The example image below is for a Director amp running firmware 2.0.xx but the web interface is the same in the CM 70 volt and RS subwoofer amps.

First, you have to log in to the web interface of the amplifier. You will need to determine the amplifiers IP address and then type it into a web browsers address field. If you need help on how to determine the amplifiers IP address on your network, please refer to this KB article IP Address.

Once logged into the web interface you will see a gear icon in the top right corner, open the menu and then open
the Network tab. Click on the DHCP button to turn off the DHCP function (the DHCP button will be black when off). When DHCP is turned off you will see pencil icons in the network setting fields, now you can enter your static IP address information. When finished entering your static IP information click Save Changes > then power the amplifier off and back on using the rear panel power switch.

Firmware 2.0.xx:
set static IP

For Director series amplifiers that are still on the previous firmware version 1.1.xx, in the Configuration Tab of the web interface you would uncheck the DHCP box, enter your static IP address information, click on the Save Settings button, and then you will need to power cycle the amplifier off then back on using the rear panel power switch.
